Life here is always crazy. Today it was the same craziness only this time hubby was sick.
Hubby came home last night with a fever and chills and a sore throat so I made him take some tylenol and lay down and rest so I took care of putting the kids to bed and feeding the dogs. He did manage to eat some speghetti last night so that was a good thing.
This morning, I wake up before everyone else and enjoyed the quiet from the coziness of my bed of course. Then Bman got up and came over and crawled into bed and the next thing I hear is a thump, and Tink crying and walking into our room. Not bad for a kid whose suppose to be in his crib. Looks like the little stinker figured out how to get out of his crib. Daddy is now concerned because he "fell" out of his bed but I think Tink was more upset because he was shocked that he figured it out.
I tried to talk my hubby into going in later for work this morning so that he could lay down and rest some before going to work but he wouldn't hear of it.
The kids were both super hyper this morning or maybe it just seemed that way. I made breakfast this morning which is actually unusual and neither kid ate much at all. I hate all of mine and enjoyed it. Hubby ate his too.
Tried to go to the grocery store this afternoon and the kids just didn't want to cooperate and let me look for those bargains.
Came home to find a message on my answering machine from my mil who asked that we call her when we get in. So I actually called her. I never call my in laws, ever but I did today because there has been some illness in the family and I didn't want my dh to call while he was at work in case it was bad news. Thankfully it wasn't bad news just that my 13 year old sister in law has shingles. Who ever heard of a 13 yo having shingles? Not me but she's been going through some stressing times recently so the doc thinks that's what it was that caused it.
The rest of the day was pretty smooth. Both kids took naps, I got to talk to Kate online, I did a few surveys today. The kids both ate pretty good for supper.
They both made a mess getting a bath though but they wouldn't be my kids if they didn't.
