Bathroom Renovations

Thanks, Sandy for reminding me that I haven't been back on here to say how the bathroom went.

It took us ALL day Friday to get the old floor ripped out and the new one put down. Because they live in a trailer it seemed to be a little harder. We had to be careful not to put any holes in the walls and not to cut any of the support joists. The floor was so rotted in spots that it didn't take much to get it out. Had we had all the proper tools it wouldn't have been so bad but we didn't have all the proper tools so it took a little longer.

Measuring the floor seemed to take forever and no one seemed to care that I did the hardest measuring myself without help. Silly boys (my dad and husband). It was fun though, a little tiring and I was blowing my nose and coughing every couple of minutes. We never left my parents house until 9:00 that night. We never got home until around 11:00.

I was exhausted and thanks to dh, I was in bed almost immediately after getting home. I was out before he brought the kids upstairs to put to bed. I barely stayed awake long enough to get home. I refuse to fall asleep in the car because I'm always afraid that dh will fall asleep then and then we'd be in trouble.

I was exhausted after working just 4 hours Saturday morning and wanted to just crawl into bed when I got home but couldn't cause dh was working and the kids wouldn't hear of taking a nap. I did fall asleep for a few minutes and woke to Bman staring at me. Now let me tell you how freaky that is.
