Here we go again

It's been a while since I blogged again. Seems the days just go so fast and I don't get a moment to stop and blog.

Last week D was on vacation so we were busy either here or at my parents house. Monday my dad and D dug holes so we could move our fence about 6 feet. It was rainy and cold outside. Tuesday we were at mom and dad's house helping to remove a shower and putting a new one in. Wednesday we moved most of the fence. We had to cement in the last post so we couldn't finish it. Thursday we finished the fence. Friday we cleaned out the garage. We managed to clean it completely out and find enough room in it to park a car. The other side is cleaned but has the stuff for yard sale in it, so we'll have to have a yard sale before we can put the other car in. Now we just need a garage door opener. Getting in and out of the car to open and close the door is getting tiring already. Saturday we returned extra fencing things to Lowe's and enjoyed a nice quiet Saturday at home. Sunday we had my in laws over for supper. That was a bit stressful because I had forgot that I needed to make something for B for his "birthday celebration" at school. Since he's got a summer birthday, he got to celebrate it today. Then I had to clean, thankfully D did a lot of the cleaning for me. We also had to decide what to have for dinner. I'm always so nervous about cooking for D's family because they eat such good food all the time and I don't think I can cook as well even though I do love to cook.

B's got one more day of school left. It's hard to believe that he'll be 5 in August. Seems like only yesterday I was pregnant with him. L will be 3 in August too. So hard to believe my babies are growing up. B will be attending preschool again next year. He's not ready to attend Kindergarten yet. So he'll go M, W, F ams and L will go T, Th ams. I can't wait to have some quiet time each day with just one of them. They are such different children when they are alone. I am hoping to work with B this summer on his writing and cutting and maybe evening coloring.
