The end of my week

What a week, I've had. The first part of the week must not have been the best because honestly, I don't remember most of it, sad, huh?

Then Thursday, I got a package delivered to my front door, flowers from my secret sister. They are gorgeous. Dh got jealous because I got flowers and they weren't from him. I think he thinks they're from my other man that I don't have. Silly man.

Friday, I worked but I came home to my mom's day gift from the boys. They got me flowers and did a flower bed around my dh's maple tree (his first ever father's day gift). What a big surprise that was. I was so happy when I pulled in and saw it.

I cleaned the floors in the dining room and kitchen Thursday and even cleaned off the counters in the kitchen. I even cleaned the floors last night too, which for me is amazing. I want to try to do this every day, it makes it so much easier to keep things clean that way. Then at least if I get company, I won't have to be so embarrassed.

I did have a bad moment last night when I was taking down laundry that my dh thought he'd be nice a wash and hang out. Seems, he forgot to check the pants pockets for tissues and left one go through the laundry. So he hung out laundry with tissue pieces stuck all over them. Then he knows I hate to see underwear hanging out on the line for the world to see, doesn't matter if it's mine or someone I don't even know. What is hidden under pants should stay that way. Don't hang underwear on the line. I noticed the he hung out Bman's underwear when we sat down for dinner. I casually mentioned it and he said it was only Bman's not to worry. So while he was giving the boys a bath, I took down laundry. There on the wash line for the neighborhood to see was my underwear. Just one pair but still. I mentioned this when I was yelling about the tissue and he says, well I tried to hide it. URGGGGHHHHHH!!!!!! I remember when I first started to hang our laundry out and he would throw a fit about me hanging out his boxers so I stopped. He hung just about all the laundry with one clothes pin. Didn't matter if it was one of my shirts or one of the boys' shirts, it had one clothes pin. Even the pants. Then to top it all off, our one neighbor is selling their house and they were showing it last night and while I was taking down the laundry, they come out back and said hi. Boy, was I embarrassed again.

I finally calmed down enough to ask him to not hang out laundry with tissue pieces all over it and to start taking his time when hanging and I told him if I ever saw another pair of my underwear hanging on the wash line I was going to strangle him with them. I'm sure by tomorrow I'll be laughing about it. I really do appreciate him doing the laundry but I just wish he would do it at least half right.
