I was having a great day yesterday. Got up went to work, came home got the kids their lunch, did some computer stuff, spent time with the kids, did dinner, spent some more time with the kids, gave them a bath, watched some TV with them and put them to bed and enjoyed some mommy alone time. The kids were even pretty well behaved too. No major issues. Then my husband came home. He sits down and looks rather upset. He then proceeds to tell me that his DM came in and wrote him up, yet again, for something that happened a month ago before his DM came back to the company.
Some background info, my hubby started working for this company almost 2 years ago. His DM at the time was great. He helped hubby get his store in order, then he got transeffered to a different district. A new DM came along and started being a jerk from the start. Now dh was always running short handed. He was to have an assistant and a third key holder but was always short the key holder position, until just recently (June to be exact). He did the best he could even through Christmas and other holidays. He managed to take a store that was not doing well profit-wise and make it into a store that produced a profit. He really cleaned up the store. When something happened that went against policy, he handled it with stern warnings both verbal and written. He is a hard worker and puts more time into the store some days than he does his family it seems. He was written up several months ago for a bed store visit. He had taken care of the issues before the visit but he still loss points because that's the way the DM wanted to be. DM #2 left for another company and DM#1 came back. Thing went a lot smoother and things were going great, then DM#2 returned, a week ago and now all heck breaks lose again.
So now I'm left with a sinking feeling in the pit of my stomach. I have no idea if dh will have a job soon and I'm scared. The one good thing that came out of this is we prayed together for the first time ever last night. Now to put my faith in God and know that he has control of this situation.
