I'm sitting here trying to find a recipe for a simple, basic yellow cake for my son's birthday cake. I need the recipe tonight so I know if I have all the ingredients or not, so I can make it first thing tomorrow for his birthday on Sunday. Do you know how hard it is to find a basic yellow cake recipe? It's hard.

While I'm doing this, the two kiddos are suppose to be entertaining themselves without the TV. Now they've been playing with toys until I sit down here. Now they're beating on each other, yellowing, yampering, and the little one is taking off his clothes and running around with just a diaper and sandels on. Not sure why but he is. Now he stands here whining at me because he started to take his diaper off and he doesn't like that. Then why start to take it off?

Last night he crawled into bed with us, not sure why but he did. My hubby left him lay between us and fall asleep (he crawls in on daddy's side). I wake up about an hour or so later, take him back over and realize that he's soaked. Seems he figured out how to pee up and over the top of the diaper (I think hubby didn't have it on tight enough). He made our sheets wet and his pjs wet. I had to change him and wake hubby up to change the sheets. This now reminds me that I have to go get the towel out from under the sheet and find some fabric freshner. My hubby was still sleeping when I left this morning, so I forgot until now. Yuck. I hate the smell of pee. I sure hope I have something to spray on it or I'm flipping the mattress until I get something tomorrow at work.

I'm so tired right now I could handle going to bed now but I have to get off here to give the kids their baths and get them ready for bed. Maybe while they're playing I'll get some jammies on too and take out my eyes so I don't have so much to do when I'm ready for fall asleep.
