On Wednesday, Bman, had his first dentist appointment.
I was a little nervous for him. He's not good with strangers sometimes and really not good if they are going to touch him. I decided the best way to handle it was to talk about it. I told him what the dentist would do and how he didn't need to worry about anything. When they called his name, he went happily back the hallway with the lady.
He sat in the chair and even before she had on her "equipment" he had his mouth open. He was such a big boy. He got to hold the thing that sucks the goo from your mouth and he thought he was a big shot. He even giggled when she cleaned his teeth and didn't even flinch when she flossed.
He got an A+ for being so big. He also got a Lightening McQueen toothbrush, a pencil and two stickers.
Now he can't wait until the nxt time.

I'm glad he did good! It's a tad nerve wracking that first time. I remember (almost 7 years ago) watching Louisa walk back to the check up room all by herself, acting like a big girl. I was so nervous!
Great job! My girls love the dentist - of course ours is quite the charmer... lol.
So glad that he handeled it so well! I still need to get Cale in for his first time. They told me not to take him until he was five, but now I hear that you are supposed to take them in younger... either way, I got to get him in!
