I've been tagged

Typically I don't care for being tagged, only because I never know who to tag in response. I do however like the get to know you ones, even if I've already done them. This one is front Snowflake Submerged, if you haven't checked out this blog, I'd encourage you to.

1.) Egg Nog or Hot Chocolate? Well since I think egg nog is gross, I'd have to say Hot Chocolate.

2.) Does Santa wrap presents or just sit them under the tree? Why would he just sit them under the tree? He's got tons of elves to wrap them. Wonder if he'll let me borrow one or two this year?!

3.) Colored lights on tree/house or white? On my house colored, but then again I love the old fashioned look. I do however like white or some others houses as long as they're not overdone.

4.) Do you hang mistletoe? I don't even know where to buy mistletoe, let alone hanging it.

5.) When do you put your decorations up? This is not a good question this year. Typically it's the weekend after Thanksgiving, however this year is unique.

6.) What is your favorite holiday dish (excluding dessert)? Ham gravy over mashed potatoes. Gotto love the taste of pineapple juice in the gravy. Great now I'm hungry yet again.

7.) Favorite Christmas memory as a child? Decorating the tree and me in the process.

8.) When and how did you learn the truth about Santa? I have no idea.

9.) Do you open a gift on Christmas Eve? Every year that I can remember.

10.) How do you decorate your Christmas tree? With the ornaments I've collected thanks to my Gram since I was a little girl. I also buy a new one for each of us every year and there are even ones I made when I was little.

11.) Snow! Love it or Dread it? It depends on what snow it is. If it's the first couple, love it, after that I start to dread it.

12.) Can you ice skate? Never tried. Although when I was little we had this area behind our house that we used to play on that would freeze over in the winter and we'd skate in our shoes on it.

13.) Do you remember your favorite gift? I'm not sure it's my favorite, however, I remember getting a typewriter, but only after "Santa" made me go looking for it.

14.) What’s the most important thing about the Holidays for you? Being with my family.

15.) What is your favorite holiday desert? Anything and everything

16.) What is your favorite holiday tradition? I used to love going Christmas caroling but I haven't done that since my early teens. Oh, that was so much fun. Wonder if I can talk my boys into doing that one of these years?!

17.) What tops your tree? A star but I'm not keen on it. I still haven't found the "perfect" topper yet.

18.) Which do you prefer giving or receiving? Once upon a time it was receiving but now that I'm "older", I love giving.

19.) What is your favorite Christmas Song? I don't have just one favorite, but I do love Mary Did you know, Emanuel and all the traditional ones.

21.) Favorite Christmas Movie? I don't have a favorite, I've got a collection I watch every year.

22.) What do you leave for Santa? Honestly? I usually forget. I know, horrible aren't I?
